I chose this painting over many others because it caught my eye. I think this is an awesome painting and i like the way the water colors are displayed, and the detail within the flower. It appears as there was a great amount of time put into this piece and i find it very interesting. This artist used great composition and value. They made great use of the entire space. I personally love the hibiscus flower and I thought it was cool because it's similar to our next project in class.
